Fousin: (fuh-zin) Fake cousin. A term used when one is describing another to be linked as close as a blood relative. In actuality, the two are not related at all through family but are bonded through their Jersey born mothers who brought them up to love fashion (jean cut-offs), flowers (it is the Garden State after all), and everything in between.
Kaitlin and Chrissy have been “fousins” for the past 23 years and keep the bond strong like peanut butter to jelly. We are addicted to anything that starts with “The Real Housewives of,” a solid pair of jeans, fresh flowers in every room, and a sea of heels adorning our closet shelves. We have a love for our furry four legged friends and can often be found volunteering at our local pet rescue organization.
