And there actually is no place like home. My husband and I have been on a house hunt ever since we learned the news we were expecting, which has been since August. It's been about 5 months of looking and we have yet to find the right home. When we first started looking I for sure thought we'd be in a house by Christmas. Now I'm hoping we will be moved into a house by the time the baby comes. Wishful thinking... Until that day comes, I will be pinning away on
Pinterest, scooping up tons of design inspiration (on a friendly budget).
I have always pictured having a really crisp and clean looking master bedroom in light colors. I already have mirrored bedside tables from
Pottery Barn (Kaitlin has them, too and we both love them!) and two glass lamps.
Really love creams and "spa" or "mineral" blues.
I can keep dreaming...But how great would this be for organizing jewelry?
I have always loved light furniture with dark wooded floors
Not necessarily nautical themed, but I would love to have a very neutral and light nursery for my baby boy with some hints of blue along the way. Still haven't found the right bedding for his crib! Any advice?
Some more neutrals...
Here are a few pieces I've been adding to my bookmarks folder. My wishlist keeps growing...
absolutely love your ideas! as for the baby nursery, i have always found pottery barn to have cute designs... best of luck with your home search !
ReplyDeleteyes pottery barn kids has great stuff. also pop into HomeGoods every once in a while, they have great odds and ends. The one in Port Chester is my fav.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a very similar version of your lusted after lamps. We bought them from Costco for $69. Even if you are not a member adding in the membership cost of $50. You would still come in under budget for the price of the lamps from target and still create the same effect! Hope this helps!
