Lacquer Love: Nars & Thakoon Spring 2012

This was a match made in heaven. Thakoon and Nars, two fashion and beauty heavy weights have teamed up to create a Spring 2012 color collection unlike any other. The bright, eye catching shades were actually inspired from colors found at Indian spice markets! Get ready for some serious statement nails because this was a match made to create lacquer love!

Let's Organize

I'm moving to another apartment in a week and I'm taking this opportunity to re-organize my closet! I think baby steps are key to organizing, (at least for me) so I've decided to start with my bags. After doing some digging, I found that file bins are a great way to hold and organize clutches. Mine are in a gross pile and I can't even see all of them. Clutches are particularly hard since they don't stand., so this is an incredibly easy and (cheap!) way to get organized!

Friday Favorites: Banana Republic Jewelry

Hello again Banana Republic, and welcome back into my life. It has been years, and I mean years, since I bought any type of fun, costume jewelry from BR. I remember back in high school and college anytime I needed a little something extra to add to any of my get ups, I would head straight to the jewelry section at Banana. They used to have the BEST pieces of bright and affordable jewelry. But the past few years have been like a dry spell. I would occasionally stroll in every now and then seeing as the store is right in my neighborhood but I would find zilch, zero, nada, nothing.
