Layer the bottom
of the jar or vase with greenery. Add a couple scoops of cranberries. Pour some
water into the jar and the cranberries will float to the top. Finally, add your
floating candle. Easy as that...
Bake your
cupcakes how you would normally and frost them with vanilla icing. Sprinkle
either shredded coconut or white sprinkles over the icing. You can use
the bottoms of candy canes or peppermint sticks. With some leftover
frosting, stick a red M&M on the top of your peppermint sticks. Print out
some North Pole signs and voila..
Start off with a
candle of your choosing. I love Cinnamon scented for the holidays..Use double sided tape and wrap
it around the candle. Stick the cinnamon sticks around the candle and tie
with a string or a more festive ribbon.
If you have any
leftover peppermint sticks from your cupcake project , they would be great for
a flower arrangement. Start off with a cylinder shaped floral arranging piece
of foam. Place it in the center of your vase and insert peppermint stick around
the outside of the foam. Arrange your flowers..I think red roses or even white
roses with some holly would also look great!
